Description A Cavachon is a cross between the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and the Bichon Frise. It is a mixed breed dog. | ||
Size Cavachons are 12-16 inches tall and weigh 15-35 lbs as an adult. | ||
Coat Cavachons have a medium length coat that is smooth in texture. | ||
Color Cavachons come in a wide range of colors including; black & tan, buff & white, peach, peach & white, sable & white, or tri-colored coat. | ||
Temperament Cavachons are friendly, gentle, intelligent and very playful dogs. They are very social dogs. Cavachons love to meet new people. | ||
Care The Cavachon requires daily grooming if the hair is kept long. Clip their nails and bath as needed. | ||
Exercise Like all dogs Cavachons need their daily exercise. A daily walk or playtime in the backyard will satisify a Cavachons exercise requirement. | ||
Training Cavachons are relitavely easy to train with gentle and consistant training. They are quite intelligent. | ||
Shedding Cavachons have a very low shedding coat which makes them a great choice for allergy sufferers. | ||
Life Expectancy A well cared for Cavachon can live 8-12 years. | ||
Health When looking at the health concerns of Cavachon you should look at the parent breeds; the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and the Bichon Frise. | ||
